Walkie Talkies

Every weekday morning, after walking or exercising, a group of women meet at a local fast food restaurant for coffee. It makes getting up easier! Not many of us are as ambitious as that looks. You don't have to walk or exercise, you can just show up for coffee, and you don't have to worry about the time, anytime between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. is fine.  The group is big enough and with no assigned seating you will meet and enjoy different people just about every time you come. We talk a lot but we seldom gossip. We discuss sermons, the weather, and politics. We just about all love to read books, and share them with each other. We share our joys and sorrows. If you have a birthday or an anniversary, or a new grandchild, you treat with a few goodies, or invite us into your home for a home-baked muffin. You make good friends for life, and for some of us it makes growing older easier.
